Nuevos detalles del 8300. Existen muchas posibilidades de que salgan dos versiones al mercado del BB8300: una con WiFi y otra sin él, y que se pueda actualizar desde la versión “básica” a la que lleva WiFi. Ésto lo he deducido a partir de que en el menú de configuración avanzada, hay una entrada que dice “Install WiFi Upgrade” (“Instalar actualización a WiFi). No es más que una suposición, aunque existen muchas probabilidades.
El chip GPS será un SirfStar III, el más extendido actualmente.

There are new details of the BB8300. When i tried the Daytona, i saw in the Advanced Configuration menu, an item called “Install WiFi Upgrade”. That means that maybe there will be two versions of the Daytona, a basic one, and an advanced one with WiFi. In that case, you could “upgrade” it by taking it to a Service Center. I certainly don’t know, this is just a “rumour” that can or cannot be true, but there are many chances to be true.
What is certain is that the GPS chip will be a SirfStar III LP, the most famous of GPS chips.
